Teachwise Tutoring – Client Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Teachwise Tutoring (EDU) LTD ("we", "our", or "us") and you, the client ("you" or "your"), for the provision of tutoring services by our recommended tutors.
By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Our Agreement.
1. Our Role

Teachwise Tutoring acts as an introducer and facilitator, matching you with qualified, self-employed tutors.

The tutors deliver the lessons and are responsible for the quality of their teaching.

We provide secure communication, scheduling, and payment processing to ensure a smooth experience.
2. Booking & Payments

All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email, message, or through our booking system).

Payment is made directly to Teachwise Tutoring and must be received in advance of the lessons.

Any overdue invoices may result in lessons being paused until payment is received.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy:

Lessons cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled time will not be charged.

Lessons cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled time will be charged in full.

In exceptional circumstances (e.g. illness or emergencies), we may waive the fee at our discretion.

If a tutor needs to cancel, they will offer an alternative time where possible.
4. Safeguarding

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all students.

All tutors have an enhanced DBS check (or international equivalent) and have completed safeguarding training.

Any concerns should be reported immediately to our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Joshua Howarth, at safeguarding@teachwisetutoring.co.uk.

5. Data Protection

We handle your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Your data will only be shared with the tutor(s) assigned to you and any relevant authorities if required by law.

6. Liability

We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the tutoring sessions, except where caused by our negligence.

Your agreement for tuition is with the tutor directly; however, we will mediate any disputes to ensure a fair outcome.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
8. Client Agreement
